Meghan Markle’s UK Return Is Her ‘Admission of Defeat’ — Expert

Meghan Markle is reportedly returning to the UK with Prince Harry and her kids next month. This will be the first time in four years that the Duke of Sussex will be returning to his home country with his family. However, an expert believes that Markle’s return to Britain is her “admission of defeat.”

Meghan Markle’s UK return indicates her ‘dire’ professional and financial situation, per expert

Prince Harry will visit the UK in July, reportedly with his wife, Meghan Markle, and kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to attend the One Year To Go event for the Invictus Games 2027, which will take place in Birmingham. However, Kinsey Schofield, host of Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered, feels that Markle’s return to Britain indicates something more.

In a recent interview, Kevin O’Sullivan on TalkTV expressed his doubts about Markle returning to the UK “because she doesn’t like British people. She doesn’t like Britain,” or enjoys the “lack of popularity.” On this, Schofield said, “If she does show, it tells us how dire her professional and financial situation is that she’s having to eat crow to this extent to get on an airplane and go back to some place that she claims treated her horribly.”

The expert further stated that her return also sends a wrong message to her “fans that have defended” the Duchess over the “last 6 years for against this racist institution and racist country.” “The fact that Meghan is willing to throw her Louis Vuitton on a jet and head to over to the UK tells me that this is an admission of defeat that she is struggling so much professionally” that she needs to be associated with the “British royal family.” And it seems Schofield is not the only one who thinks so about the former actress.

Tom Bower, author of “Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family,” has also analyzed the Duchess’s efforts to regain fame after stepping back from royal duties in 2020. As per The Daily Beast, speaking on The Royalist podcast, he said, “I think you can summarize it in two words: desperation and failure. They’ve run out of ideas, and their finances are basically in jeopardy.” Bower further stated that since Markle was “desperate for fame,” “recognition,” “money” and “status,” she thinks visiting the royal family “would restore to her the credibility she once had.”
