Tucker Carlson, the once-renowned Trump ally and conservative commentator, slammed the President over his threats to Iran, branding them as meaningless. He went so far as to tell the President, “shut up, b****” during a recent podcast appearance. Carlson dropped his support for Trump after the latter’s war with Iran.
Tucker Carlson lashes out at Donald Trump in new podcast
Tucker Carlson, once a close ally of President Donald Trump, branded the President’s threats to Iran as meaningless. He even told Trump, “shut up, b****” during a recent appearance on the Jack Neel Podcast.
While discussing the President’s controversial decision of going to war with Iran, which also led to the former Fox News host dropping his support for the 80-year-old President, Carlson accused Trump of making Hollow threats.
“Strong people don’t brag about how strong they are. They just punch you in the face and end the conversation,” Carlson said during the podcast appearance. “Trump is very much ‘What’d you say,’” he continued, “Shut up, b****. I don’t take you seriously.”
The conservative commentator was referring to Trump’s threats about destroying the entire civilization and continuing a bombing campaign if Iran didn’t agree to a ceasefire.
Carlson compared Trump’s threats to a person who would taunt and boast about fighting but would never throw a punch. He contrasted it to a real fighter who would fight with their hands and not their mouth. “My father, who was a boxer at one point, would always say, ‘there’s two types of guys, and you gotta be careful of the second.”
This is not the first time that the former Fox News host called out the war with Iran. He has been against Trump’s conflict since June 2025, when Trump bombed Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Carlson reportedly personally warned the President in February before he decided to go to war.
“I don’t hate Trump. I’ve always liked Trump. I just am a shallow man. I like vulgar jokes. I’m easily entertained. I laugh easily like other people. I like almost everybody. He’s hardly the most evil person I like,” Carlson clarified, “I just grieve for what his decisions in the Middle East have done to the country.”
