We are absolutely devastated to report that Liz McGraw is a one-and-done Housewife. The Real Housewives of Rhode Island star just revealed that she won’t return for Season 2 of the hit Bravo series, and the Bravoverse is shocked, confused, and everything in between. Here’s what she said about her exit.
RHORI Season 2 won’t include OG cast member Liz McGraw
Liz dropped this bombshell on us amid swirling rumors of her potential departure. The word on the street was that she chose to walk away, despite an offer from Bravo. Now, this Instagram post confirms it.
“I’m full of gratitude for the amazing opportunity to appear on this show,” Liz began. “As filming for Season 2 begins, I have made the decision to take a step back and focus on my family, my work and my passions.”
Although Liz had some volatile moments with castmates like Jo-Ellen Tiberi and Alicia Carmody throughout Season 1, it sounds like her exit comes without any hard feelings. Liz wished all of the ladies the best as they continue their reality TV careers. She’s just getting off the ride early.
“The RHORI cast is an amazing group of women who have created something special,” Liz added. “I’ll be watching next season, rooting for the continued success of this franchise. For now, I look forward to enjoying this little corner of the world from the other side of the camera.”
If she ever has a change of heart, it sounds like Bravo will be ready and waiting. Andy Cohen dropped into the comment section and made his position crystal clear.
Andy wrote, “The door is always open…. Just sayin’! ❤️.”
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island is streaming on Peacock.
