Before making a splash in the Love Island USA villa, Tierra “Titi” Davis was apparently involved in some seriously messy high school drama. We’ve all been there, but allegedly, Titi took things to the extreme and was accused of threatening to shoot a girl. And it all started over a boy.
Love Island USA star Tierra’s allegations explained
The 25-year-old Casa Amor bombshell made waves in Season 8 after KC Chandler chose her over Aniya Harvey. But before she stirred up drama in the villa, Titi allegedly found herself at the center of a messy love triangle involving a woman named Shayla Woodward.
According to court docs reviewed by Us Weekly, Shayla filed for a temporary restraining order against Titi back in 2018, alleging that the Love Island star physically assaulted her and threatened to shoot her. The drama supposedly started after the then-17-year-old accused Shayla of making moves on her ex-boyfriend.
“I know her ex-boyfriend (they are no longer dating), but he and I are not dating even though that’s what she suspects,” Shayla claimed in court documents. “She started harassing me by phone earlier that day on 10/2/18 … where she kept asking me where I went to school. …She was going to come find me.”
According to Shayla, their drama escalated quickly. She accused Titi of harassing her via text, Instagram, and Snapchat before things led to a physical altercation.
“[I was] hit multiple times in face, arms, and upper body,” Shayla claimed in court documents.
On top of the fight, Shayla alleged that Titi threatened to shoot her. Because of the alleged assault and threatening comments, she decided to pursue a restraining order.
“She threatened to shoot me with a gun the next time she saw me,” Shayla claimed. “I live with my mom and my baby brother, and this is who I am with most often. They could be struck with a stray bullet in the line of fire.”
Although a judge granted the restraining order, the court later dismissed the case in December 2018. Prosecutors never filed criminal charges, leaving Titi with a clean background check ahead of her reality TV debut. As we’ve seen, however, the drama followed her anyway.
Upon Titi’s arrival in Casa Amor, KC quickly took interest and ditched his girl, Aniya, for Titi. It was a recoupling that didn’t sit well with most of the ladies in the villa, but Titi stood her ground. Fortunately, she didn’t threaten to shoot anyone this time. She did, however, deliver an iconic line.
She said, “You can pipe down, I’m Titi!”
