Meghan Markle‘s feelings about her visit to the UK with Prince Harry and their children could allegedly interfere with her husband’s plans. Whether he will visit with his family is still up in the air, while King Charles is reportedly making arrangements for their accommodation and security.
Meghan Markle not entirely sure about travelling to the UK, claims source
An insider has reportedly informed The National Examiner that Meghan Markle has her reservations about travelling to the UK with Prince Harry. The insider claimed that the Duchess of Sussex “doesn’t trust the palace one bit.” They further revealed, “In her mind, they’ve spent years spreading poisonous rumors about her, so she’s finding it very hard to believe anyone’s suddenly had a change of heart” (via The Daily Express).
The couple is reportedly returning to the UK this month for the 2027 Invictus Games one-year countdown. “Meghan’s trying to be strong because she knows how much this trip means to Harry,” the insider added. “But she’s admitted that she’s terrified they’re walking into a trap.”
Besides the royal family, Markle is allegedly also worried about others around the palace. The source continued, “She’s just as suspicious of the courtiers. She says she knows plenty of them are on the warpath against her and Harry, just waiting for William to become king, so they’ll finally lose their status.”
The source also alleged that Prince Harry is doing his best to reassure his wife. Per the insider, the Duke of Sussex, “keeps telling her she’s expecting the worst and insists his father genuinely wants to see them, but that’s not doing a whole lot to ease her fears.”
“In her view, this is a whole lot bigger than Charles, and she says she can’t shake the feeling she’s walking straight into the lion’s den,” the insider continued. “No doubt if they end up cancelling, she will be immensely relieved, but she’s leaving the final decision up to Harry.”
