Serena Williams’ Daughters Sweetly Cheer on Mom During Wimbledon Comeback

On June 30, Serena Williams‘ daughters cheered on their mother, who made her Wimbledon comeback after four years. The 23-time Grand Slam champion, who last competed in ladies’ singles at Wimbledon in 2022, a straight-sets defeat to Maya Joint.

Serena Williams’ daughters, 8-year-old Olympia and 2-year-old Adira, joined their father, Alexis Ohanian, in the stands (via PEOPLE). The trio were dressed in matching white outfits and cheered on the 44-year-old as she took the Centre Court at Wimbledon. Sister Venus Williams also sat in the audience, not too far from the rest of the family.

Mirror reported that Serena Williams’s younger daughter, Adira, had to leave before the game began due to restrictions on the age of spectators. Despite this obstacle, Ohanian and the kids seemed to have enjoyed the game day out. The American investor shared an Instagram post, praising Williams and expressing how proud they were of her.

Alongside a carousel of heartwarming photos, Ohanian wrote, “Our little family is so proud of you [Serena Williams] – even though it wasn’t the outcome you wanted, you’re an inspiration. We love you. [Olympia Ohanian] [Adira Ohanian] are also happy they got to stay up a bit past their bedtime.”

Fans showered Williams and her family with love in the comments. One user wrote, “Serena will always be the GOAT!! I love the fact that the girls were there to see their momma do her thing!! Dee Dee is truly your twin!! Baby girls are blessed indeed!” Another fan commented, “I loved seeing her and all of you! Beautiful family with love and support!”

Serena Williams returned to the court in early June, playing a doubles match at the Queen’s Club Championship in London. On June 9, she and her partner, Victoria Mboko, defeated Nicole Melichar-Martinez and Erin Routliffe in straight sets, 7-6, 6-2. The Williams sisters will play doubles together at Wimbledon from July 2.
