Angelina Jolie is allegedly finding that her ex Brad Pitt has left a lasting impact on her. Jolie called it quits with Pitt in 2016 after a decade-long relationship. The couple first met on the set of the 2004 film, “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.”

Angelina Jolie is reportedly nervous about getting back into the dating pool. A source told In Touch, “She’s talking a good game and putting the word out to friends that she’s open to suggestions or introductions.” However, she is allegedly worried about “putting herself out there again, letting her guard down and running that risk of disappointment if and when things don’t ultimately work out.”
In a recent interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, Jolie admitted that she has not dated since her split from Pitt. The former couple shares six kids: Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 20, and 17-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
The source told In Source, “Brad did a real number on her faith in romance, there’s no escaping that, and Angie’s not sure if she could deal with trusting her heart then getting trampled on all over again. She blames him for that entirely.” They further said that whenever she finally decides to try dating again, it will likely be hard for her.
The insider claimed that the fact that Jolie has “gotten very accustomed to her own company” also does not help. “It’s not as though the kids are flying the nest any time soon and she’ll be sitting around all by herself,” they said. “So right now, there’s a sense that she’s open to the possibility, but it’s hardly a priority.”
Jolie recently returned to the big screen with “Couture.” The film follows the story of a filmmaker who gets a cancer diagnosis while working during Paris Fashion Week. It hit US theaters on June 26 after its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
