Prince George looks taller than ever at Wimbledon on Sunday.
The 12-year-old appeared noticeably taller than his younger sister, Princess Charlotte, in the Royal Box. George joined his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, and Charlotte, 11, for the men’s singles final on July 12 in London. The family drew a standing ovation as they took front-row seats and watched Jannik Sinner beat Alexander Zverev in four sets. Prince Louis, the couple’s youngest child, did not attend.

This is not the first time fans noticed Prince George’s height. Photos from the Prince George Wimbledon appearance showed him standing nearly level with his parents, showing steady growth. He had gained a few inches by a November event at Royal Albert Hall, then looked nearly as tall as his mother at an Easter outing in April.
He wore a navy suit, blue shirt and tie that mirrored his father’s outfit. Wimbledon’s dress code kept the father-son duo in suits despite the temperatures near 84 degrees. Kate wore an asymmetrical olive cape dress with a Wimbledon badge, while Charlotte wore a royal blue dress with fluttery sleeves, white ballet flats and charm bracelets.
The heat shaped the day. George, Kate and Charlotte switched to sun hats and sunglasses while watching the match. George used a hand-held fan as the sun hit the front row.
Kate, who has been the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club since 2016, presented the trophy to Sinner. “It’s really inspiring for the children, too, to see tennis at that level,” she told him. Sinner also asked George if he plays daily. “Not every day. Weekends,” George replied. Charlotte confirmed she plays as well.
George turns 13 this month and starts at Eton College in the fall.
