Prince Harry Becomes the Butt of Sacha Baron Cohen’s Wimbledon Joke

Prince Harry just became part of Ali G’s Wimbledon act. Sacha Baron Cohen brought back his famous comedy character at Wimbledon 2026 and turned the Duke of Sussex into one of the punchlines.

The actor made Prince Harry the punchline during his Wimbledon stunt

Sacha Baron Cohen staged a surprise Ali G appearance during the Wimbledon men’s final, where Jannik Sinner defeated Alexander Zverev. The actor arrived at Centre Court in disguise before changing into Ali G’s signature look.

The stunt quickly drew attention away from the usual Royal Box glamour. The Sun noted that Cohen entered with his own security team before changing into a white Wimbledon-style jacket with “Official Ganja Dealer” written on the back.

He also fully embraced the character online. In a video shared on Ali G’s Instagram account, Cohen joked about tennis, grass, and Wimbledon while wearing yellow-tinted sunglasses, a skullcap, a gold chain, and a themed tennis outfit. Then came the Prince Harry joke. Cohen quipped in character, “Prince Harry owes me £1400,” before joking that he “used to be his dealer at Eton.”

The line reflected Ali G’s signature style: outrageous, fictional, and designed to surprise audiences. Still, Harry’s name gave the joke an extra royal twist, especially because Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the final with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The Wimbledon 2026 appearance also fueled speculation about Cohen’s next project. The Guardian noted last week that Cohen has completed a new Ali G movie, although the title and release date have not been confirmed.

The Daily Beast also noted that Ali G sat in Section 215 rather than the Royal Box. Meanwhile, celebrities including Nicole Kidman, Anna Wintour, Ben Stiller, and Rami Malek watched from more prominent seats.

For now, Cohen has not explained how much of the Wimbledon stunt will appear in the reported movie. However, the Prince Harry joke has already done its job. It got people talking, laughing, and wondering how far Ali G’s comeback will go.
