Her remarks came after she faced renewed criticism from online body-shamers. Barker expressed anger while discussing the comments in a TikTok video.
Alabama Barker weaponizes Ozempic in response to body-shaming critics
Barker, 22, addressed the criticism in a TikTok video posted on July 30. She said she planned to use a GLP-1 medication because of the comments. “This is not very role model of me, but I’m gonna get on the highest dose of Ozempic,” she said. Barker then said she would become so skinny that people would tell her to eat.
“The way that people body shame me is f—ing disgusting,” she added. She also told her critics, “I f—ing hate you guys, and I’m gonna get so skinny.” Barker ended her message by predicting a drastically different appearance. She said she would have “no ass, no tits” in 2027.
The comments came as Barker continued responding to scrutiny surrounding her appearance. She previously addressed claims that she had undergone cosmetic procedures. In February 2024, Barker said she was “natural” apart from having lip enhancements. She also asked people to accept that she was naturally beautiful.
Months earlier, Barker discussed claims about her changing appearance in another TikTok. She said an autoimmune disease and thyroid problem had caused her weight to fluctuate. Barker also encouraged young girls not to believe weight gain meant something was wrong.
Her mother, Shanna Moakler, has also spoken publicly about using GLP-1 medication. Moakler previously said she turned to Mounjaro after losing both of her parents.
Barker’s latest comments therefore reflect her ongoing frustration with appearance-based criticism. However, her comment to use Ozempic appeared to be a response to body-shaming.
