Cristiano Ronaldo’s fiancée, Georgina Rodríguez, is refusing to let online criticism define how she feels about her body. After vacation photos sparked fresh commentary about her appearance, the model shared a candid message about self-worth.
Cristiano Ronaldo reassured Georgina Rodríguez that she is more than her appearance
Rodríguez addressed the body-shaming remarks in an Instagram post on Aug. 4. She said women’s bodies naturally change and expressed hope that hers would continue changing for years because it would mean she was still living. As a mother, Rodríguez said she wants to teach her children, especially her daughters, that a person’s worth cannot depend on physical appearance or strangers’ opinions.
Rodríguez admitted that being called “fat” concerned her because her career involves her public image. According to her post, Ronaldo reminded her that she lives through who she is, not merely how she looks. He praised her as a mother, a successful woman, and someone who approaches life with love.
The exchange offered another glimpse into their relationship after Ronaldo previously revealed that he had not planned his proposal in advance. The couple announced their engagement in August 2025 after nearly a decade together.
Rodríguez then questioned who gets to decide what the “right” body looks like. She explained that she exercises because training gives her health, discipline, energy and peace of mind, not because she sees movement as punishment for her size. “I love my curves,” Rodríguez wrote. She described her body as something that has supported her, allowed her to create life and helped her rise after difficult moments.
Her response follows months of attention surrounding her fashion and vacation photos. Rodríguez previously embraced her figure in a bold swimwear campaign, but her latest post focused on the pressure behind those images rather than the clothes.
Bethenny Frankel recently responded to similar body-shaming comments after her runway appearance. Like Rodríguez, she rejected the idea that strangers should set the standard for a woman’s body.
Rodríguez ended by defining success as living peacefully, caring for her health and enjoying time with loved ones. Her message was clear: Public opinion does not get to decide her value.
