A$AP Rocky walked away from a promising creative partnership after a private conversation unexpectedly landed on social media. The rapper quickly made his feelings known, turning what looked like a business opportunity into an online lesson about trust and professionalism.

A$AP Rocky cancels collaboration with Allan Peters after designer shares private Instagram DMs
The drama began when graphic designer Allan Peters shared a screenshot of an Instagram DM from the Praise The Lord rapper.
According to Complex, Rocky reached out to ask about logo revisions for a brand project. The message reportedly read, “Good morning Allan. How much do u charge for brand logo revisions? Assuming you would be willing to do so, I would be honored, love ur work, god bless.”
Instead of keeping the conversation private, Peters posted the screenshot on Instagram with the caption, “I have no words.”
Rocky responded almost immediately. He made it clear the post ended any chance of working together.
“THIS IS JUST DISTASTEFUL,” Rocky wrote. “WELL I GUESS WE WON’T BE WORKING, BEST OF LUCK BUDDY.”
Peters later deleted the post. However, he did not publicly address the situation. He continued posting regular content and celebrated reaching one million Instagram followers.
The incident quickly sparked debate online. Many social media users argued that private business messages should remain confidential.
One X user wrote, “Can’t even blame him on this one. Some conversations need to stay private, especially when it comes to business” Another added, “if asap rocky called me buddy i would print it out frame it above my futon and retire from dating forever.”
The timing also comes during a busy stretch for Rocky. He recently completed the North American leg of his Don’t Be Dumb tour and now prepares for European dates.
Earlier this year, Rocky also spoke about how fatherhood changed his perspective. In an interview with W Magazine, he admitted, “I am way more emotional. Before the kids, I was probably cold-hearted.”
During The Run-Through With Vogue, he added, “Being a father is my creative process now.” Rocky shares sons RZA and Riot, along with daughter Rocki, with longtime partner Rihanna.
