The interaction between Prince William and his father, King Charles, has reportedly changed “behind closed doors.” The news came just weeks after the monarch and his wife, Queen Camilla, hosted Prince Harry, his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children, Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie, in a private family gathering at Highgrove House in England. The meeting marked the monarch’s reunion with his two grandchildren after four years.
King Charles and Prince William face monarchy challenge, claims insider
King Charles and his eldest son, the future King, Prince William, have allegedly been facing a challenge to the monarchy.
As reported by Heatworld, an insider told them that the Prince of Wales “has never hidden the fact that he thinks Charles should’ve been a lot harsher with Andrew [re Epstein scandal].” The former Prince Andrew lost his royal titles and his long-time residence, the Royal Lodge, in Windsor Great Park, after news of his scandalous past came to light.
The source further told the news outlet that King Charles once again refrained from listening to his eldest son, Prince William’s, advice. This time it was regarding the Prince of Wales’ younger brother, Prince Harry. The King reunited with his younger son, the Duke of Sussex, and his family recently at England’s Highgrove House.
The source added that the monarch’s move led the Prince of Wales to form an opinion about his “father’s judgement.”
Meanwhile, the news outlet reported that the insider said to them, “And now that Charles has gone against his advice again.” They continued, “And has decided to pursue a peace truce with Harry.”
The insider then claimed that Prince William feels “even more convinced that his father’s judgment is way off.” Further, the source also told the news outlet that the Prince of Wales will “always be respectful in public.” “But behind closed doors he’s constantly pointing out all the things he would’ve handled differently,” the source added.
