Sources say the Duke sees Australia as an alternative base
Sources claim that Prince Harry is considering Australia as a potential base to remain connected to the royal family while continuing to build a life with family outside the UK. They added that he doesn’t plan to move permanently to the UK. However, the Duke has discussed the possibility of serving the Crown from an overseas position.
They noted that the alleged decision was made because Meghan Markle reportedly does not want to return to the UK. Staying in Australia, however, could be a suitable option for the Prince Harry, as it would allow him to respect his wife’s wishes while also carrying out royal duties without staying in the UK.
Angela Levin recently took to X to share her opinion on the Duke of Sussex’s relocation plans. She wrote, “Meghan hated being in Australia once married. This time she was a guest judge about some food. But neither she nor Harry can be allowed in charge. It’s their way to plan taking over the King or Prince William. I’ve written about them in my substack today.”
For those unversed, Markle recently made an appearance as a guest judge on MasterChef Australia on July 26. At the time, Prince Harry also cameoed on FaceTime. Last month, the Sussexes also had an emotional reunion with King Charles at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, England.
It was a private meeting, with no details or pictures disclosed in the media. Following this meeting, King Charles reportedly also offered an olive branch to Prince Harry to stay at Buckingham Palace on his next visit in September.
