Taylor Swift reportedly made one major change in her life after marrying Travis Kelce. A new report claims she wants to stay wherever her husband is, instead of living across the country. Insiders said the couple no longer want a long-distance relationship.

Kelce reported to Kansas City Chiefs training camp at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri, on July 29. According to the Daily Mail, the newlyweds also started transforming his $17 million Kansas City mansion into their shared home.

“They don’t want it to feel like it’s Travis’s house that Taylor moved into,” a source told the outlet. “They want a place that’s theirs from day one.”

The insider claimed the couple viewed this chapter as a fresh start. Instead of building separate lives, they reportedly wanted to create one life together.

“This is their fresh start. They’re not building Taylor’s life or Travis’s life anymore. They’re building one life — together,” the source said.

The insider also claimed the pair had no interest in returning to long-distance living.

“They’ve done the long-distance thing, and it was hard. Now they’re married, Taylor’s going to be where Travis is. That’s home,” the source added.

According to the report, Swift’s career gives her plenty of flexibility. The insider claimed she could write music and manage her business from almost anywhere.

“She’s not tied to New York or LA,” the source continued. “They want to wake up together, have dinner together and build a real home — not just squeeze in visits between schedules.”

The report also claimed Swift had already embraced life in Kansas City. She has reportedly become a regular at several local restaurants and hotspots.

Among them was 1587 Prime, the steakhouse Kelce co-owns with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The restaurant even features a Taylor Swift-inspired cocktail called Alchemy. The singer also reportedly visited Prime Social, where Kelce hosted their first post-game celebration together.

According to the report, Swift has also enjoyed private dinners at Piropos and ordered Rye’s famous glazed pecan cinnamon rolls while spending time with other Chiefs players’ wives and girlfriends.

The couple may not stay in Kansas City forever, though. Another source claimed they have started browsing homes in Montecito, California, because they loved its privacy and peaceful atmosphere. The insider added that they plan to keep Swift’s Tribeca property in New York while Kelce explores future acting and television opportunities after his NFL career.
