Travis Kelce has turned heads in a Kansas City Chiefs training camp video with a fresh new look ahead of the 2026 NFL season. His revamped appearance quickly sparked online buzz, arriving roughly a month after his high-profile wedding to Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden.

Travis Kelce is back for what might be his last year with the Kansas City Chiefs, and he’s saying goodbye to football with a look everyone recognizes. A new video shared by “New Heights” on X showed the 36-year-old at the Chiefs camp debuting a clean buzzcut and bringing back the “El Travador” mustache.
“El Travedor has returned,” the caption read under the August 3 video of Kelce arriving for practice at Missouri Western State University in red, debuting a style refresh. Just days earlier, on July 31, the three-time Super Bowl winner had sported a full beard and mustache at a training session.
This time, however, he went with a clean-shaven look everywhere except for a thick mustache. He also touched up his buzzcut, trimming the sides close and taking a bit off the top.

Fans instantly flooded the comments, with one writing, “Doesn’t have to knock on wood! But year 14 is going to be fire since El Travador is back! LFG!!!”
“TK’s face means business….Love it!” echoed another. “El Travedor moustache during training camp + playoff hockey beard = winning combo,” read a hype comment. “Oh, we are so BACK!!! I’m ready,” cheered an NFL enthusiast.
For those unaware, the mustache has plenty of history behind it. Travis Kelce’s teammates, his brother Jason Kelce, and fans have all commented on it over the years, and it’s what earned him the nickname.
While the clean-shaven face with just a mustache isn’t everyone’s favorite, the Chiefs’ tight end had once shared that he was wearing it back in 2023 when he and Swift first started dating.
“I’ll tell you what, that ‘stache and the 87 jersey was pretty iconic there for a bit,” Kelce stated at a press conference in October 2023. “I had it when I met Taylor for the first time.”
