In a recent interview, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle revealed that it was his mother, Jan Krieger, who unexpectedly became “one of the MVPs” during the celebrity couple’s nuptials.

During his recent appearance on the Chris Simms Unbuttoned podcast, Kittle explained how his mother’s outgoing nature ended up making her a standout during Swift and Kelce’s July 3 union.
The 32-year-old NFL veteran noted, “My mom became one of the MVPs of the wedding because she’s not shy, and she would just walk up to celebrities and be like, ‘Do you watch football? My son’s George Kittle. He plays for the Niners.”
“That’d be her icebreaker, and it was hilarious,” he continued.
Kittle himself attracted a lot of attention when he and Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Robert Tonyan showed up at the event wearing costumes from the 1994 comedy film “Dumb and Dumber.”
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, described as “fantastic” by the sportsman, ultimately ended up becoming a Kittle family affair. The San Francisco 49ers veteran’s wife, Claire, also accompanied him to the event, along with his parents, Bruce Kittle and Krieger. Additionally, Claire’s mother, Shelly Till, was also present at the Swift and Kelce’s union.
“Travis likes Bruce a lot, but then the moms got invited because of Tight End U last year, where they hung out with Taylor for a long time,” Kittle said. “And she just really liked them.”
He added, “So that was kind of fun to have, like, a family outing at Madison Square Garden.”
Notably, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift tied the knot at a high-profile event in New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 3.
