Meghan Markle felt she was ‘never fully trusted’ by royal family at reunion, per source
Meghan Markle allegedly felt like she was “never fully trusted” by the royal family at the recent private royal reunion. As reported by RadarOnline, a source told them that “Before the visit, they were presented with clear guidance.” The person continued, “About what could be photographed, what could appear on social media.” The source also added, “and what needed approval before being shared publicly.”
In the meantime, the insider further reported that Meghan Markle “found those restrictions particularly difficult.” The person then explained the reason behind it. The insider said, “Because she’s spent years building an independent life in California.” The person continued, “Where she decides how and when she communicates with the public.” The insider then added, “It ended up making her feel like an outsider.” The person also said, “And that left her feeling deeply hurt.”
The source then claimed, “Returning to an environment where every image and public-facing detail was subject to scrutiny.” The person continued, “Felt like a step backwards rather than a family visit” for Meghan Markle. The source further explained, “To her, it created the impression that they were being handled as a public relations issue.” The person also added, “Instead of being welcomed simply as Harry and Meghan.”
According to the insiders, Prince Harry “genuinely wanted the trip to be about repairing relationships.” They continued, “His focus was on looking ahead, rebuilding trust, and giving his father the opportunity to spend meaningful time with his grandchildren.” “Meghan, however, came away with a very different impression,” the insiders added.
