Miss USA may be lining up a familiar reality TV face for its 75th anniversary celebration, and the latest tease has fans looking toward one former titleholder. The clues are drawing attention to Kenya Moore, whose pageant history predates her long run on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and her controversial departure from the show.

On August 11, Miss USA shared an Instagram Reel teasing one of the co-hosts for its 75th Diamond Celebration. The post described the mystery woman as a former Miss USA who turned her crown into a long-running reality TV career and added, “Now she’s coming back to the Miss USA stage to co-host the 75th Diamond Celebration.”
The organization did not name the woman. Instead, it invited followers to guess, and the comment section quickly filled with references to Moore. One indexed comment asked, “IS THAT KENYA MOORE???” while another identified her as the Miss USA winner from 1993.
The clues fit. Moore won Miss USA in 1993, becoming the second Black woman to take the title. She later represented the United States at Miss Universe 1993 before building an acting and television career that eventually brought her to RHOA.
Moore joined Real Housewives of Atlanta in Season 5 and became one of the franchise’s most recognizable stars. Her latest run ended during production on Season 16 after Bravo suspended her following an incident involving castmate Brit Eady.
At the opening of Moore’s hair spa, she displayed sexually explicit images allegedly depicting Eady. Moore later addressed the fallout during a November 2024 Tamron Hall interview, where she discussed her suspension, apologized, and took accountability for escalating the situation.
The controversy did not completely sever Moore’s connection to the Real Housewives world. She has since reacted publicly to the RHOA Season 17 trailer, while Porsha Williams has spoken about filming without Moore and NeNe Leakes.
A Miss USA hosting role would return Moore to the stage that helped launch her public career more than three decades ago. The 75th Diamond Celebration will air live August 27 from Miami’s Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, with The CW carrying the two-hour event beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
For now, Miss USA has only teased the mystery co-host rather than formally naming Moore in the post. Still, the pageant history, reality TV clue and fan guesses have put her at the center of the speculation.
