On August 4, Meghan Markle took to her Instagram stories to share a goofy dance video shot by Prince Harry. In the clip, the businesswoman is seen dancing around in the kitchen, in a printed T-shirt and comfortable pyjamas. She also has a tiara on her head, with the birthday balloons and flowers nearby. “Oh dear,” Harry said as his wife continued to move around in the kitchen. In January, the couple also shared a black-and-white video of a romantic dance on the field.
In an interview with commentator Kinsley Schofield, Harry and Meghan’s long-time critic, Kevin O’Sullivan, mocked their goofy antics. The two discussed the Sussexes’ investment in a movie and their life in California. O’Sullivan claimed the couple continues to put on a “pathetic spectacle.”
The TalkTV broadcaster continued, “It’s a pathetic spectacle to see a middle-aged couple, he’s 41, she’s 45, basically just dancing around [and] looking at the sky.” He also described them as “middle-aged people with nothing to do.” The journalist further added, “It’s just tragic.”
In another part of the interview, O’Sullivan mentioned Meghan’s age, appearing to take a dig at her pictures of her jumping into the pool with balloons. Moreover, he mentioned the Suits alum as “some Hollywood wannabe who married a Prince.” Recently, Meghan also got criticized for wearing Princess Diana’s gold earrings for the avid Foster Foundation event. Palace sources told RadarOnline.com that critics are “sick” of her trying to channel her late mother-in-law.
The critics argue that every time Meghan wears something associated with Diana, it ends up creating another comparison. The source familiar with her criticism told the outlet that Meghan “needs to realize she is nowhere near as iconic as Diana and has nothing to do with her.”
