Maryland Transportation Authority Police responded after concertgoers reported that the accused had allegedly urinated on them while they were seated during Wallen’s performance on July 18. One of the fans, Troy Grevelding, told TMZ that he was at the concert with his wife, brother, and eight-year-old niece. He said the man sitting behind them allegedly exposed himself and began urinating, splashing Grevelding, his family, and other fans.
Reed was taken into custody after an investigation into what allegedly happened during Wallen’s July 18 concert at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. He is now facing multiple charges, including four counts of second-degree assault, public urination, and other related offenses, authorities told the outlet. He is currently being held in North Carolina as he awaits extradition to Maryland.
The bizarre incident is just one of several problems reported at the country singer’s concert this year. Wallen faced technical issues during his May performance at Empower Field in Denver. During his Still The Problem Tour performance, the singer encountered problems with the piano while performing Sand in My Boots, The Blast reports.
The two-time Grammy nominee came under fire in 2021 after a video surfaced showing him using a racial slur. The incident sparked significant backlash from the public, including members of the Black community. Wallen later addressed the controversy and took responsibility for his actions. He said using the word was “not something I’m proud of” and apologized to those he felt he had disappointed.
