Princess Anne has reportedly issued a stern warning to Prince William about the royal family’s future amid ongoing reports of tension between the Prince of Wales and King Charles. The alleged rift is said to have intensified following Charles’ recent meeting with Prince Harry.
According to a source, Anne has urged William not to allow his brother to further strain his relationship with their father or deepen the reported feud between them.

According to sources, Princess Anne wants Prince William to carefully consider his future amid an alleged rift with King Charles. A palace source claimed that the 76-year-old royal warned William not to let his brother, Prince Harry, and Queen Camilla “exacerbate” the tensions between him and his father.
“She’s worried about Kate and the children,” a royal insider told New Idea. The insider added that the Princess Royal warned William “that now’s not the time to make enemies.” She reportedly believes that if he does, “he’ll have just as difficult a reign as his father’s having.”
The 76-year-old reportedly wants to ensure that William and Kate Middleton do not become “isolated” from the rest of the family because of the alleged feud. As part of those efforts, Anne is said to want the Prince and Princess of Wales to maintain a close relationship with Mike and Zara Tindall, whom she reportedly believes could help bridge the divide.
New Idea also claimed that the tension between William and the monarch has begun to affect other members of the royal family. “Even worse, William and Kate both seem so guarded these days, even with her, which is why she’s adamant Zara keeps an eye on them,” the source explained.
While Anne’s efforts are reportedly making some progress, the relationship between William and Charles is said to remain strained. Another source claimed that the father-son duo now appears to meet only about once a month to discuss state affairs, with Harry allegedly becoming a source of disagreement between them. According to another insider, the future monarch is reportedly unhappy with what he sees as his brother receiving “special treatment.”
