Paris Jackson has spoken candidly about one of the darkest periods of her life. She recently revealed that not even a hole in her nose could stop her from using drugs. In a recent interview, the daughter of the late Michael Jackson reflected on her years of addiction and the physical toll it took on her body.
Paris Jackson says a perforated septum from drug use terrified her but still was not enough to make her ready for sobriety
Paris Jackson got honest about a low point in her addiction, when she ended up with a hole in her nose.
Speaking on the August 17 episode of On Purpose with Jay Shetty, the “Sex Appeal” star remembered the disturbing moment. The 28-year-old admitted that it should have “scared” her into seeking sobriety.
“I blew a hole through my nose, which is public knowledge,” Jackson shared, noting that “it’s not deviated, it’s perforated, so it whistles.” She added, “You can see straight through my nose.”
The “Hit Your Knees” singer remembered panicking after it happened. She described seeing blood everywhere and noticing the injury when she checked her reflection. According to Jackson, the doctor immediately recognized the cause. She explained that it’s the kind of injury that comes from snorting substances like cocaine and ketamine.
As reported by PEOPLE, Paris Jackson learned that her drug injury was fixable. But the doctor cautioned her that if she kept using drugs, it would happen again. That said, the “Teenage Drama” star admitted she wasn’t “done” yet.
Jackson first opened up about having a “perforated septum” in a TikTok posted in November 2025. The model explained that she’d been dealing with the issue since age 20. Jackson decided against plastic surgery to correct it and noted that she’s been sober for six years.
“You have to take pills when you have a surgery that gnarly,” she added. The “Zombies in Love” hitmaker also made a joke about being able to run a spaghetti noodle through the hole in her septum.
