Nathan Gallagher was arrested on domestic violence charges in Australia last year after allegedly assaulting a 29-year-old woman. The Below Deck star was granted conditional bail following the incident. The arrest came alongside a corresponding court case involving Gallagher and fellow cast member Gael Cameron.
What to know about Nathan Gallagher’s arrest and charges
Nathan Gallagher was arrested on December 27, 2025, following an alleged incident involving an unidentified 29-year-old woman at a Sydney-area apartment building. According to a police memo obtained by Rolling Stone, Gallagher was charged in connection with the incident.
He was charged with “assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally chok[ing a] person without consent and common assault,” according to the police memo. There were no reports of serious injuries sustained by either party.
The Below Deck Mediterranean star was granted conditional bail. However, it is not clear how he pleaded. Neither Gallagher nor Bravo has publicly addressed the incident, and Us Weekly said it reached out for comment.
Separately, Gallagher is the subject of a corresponding Apprehended Violence Application filed on behalf of Gael Cameron in New South Wales, according to court documents viewed by Us Weekly. An AVO is a legal order requested from a court to protect a person from someone who causes them to fear violence, intimidation, harassment or stalking.
Cameron, 30, and Gallagher have been together since 2024 and are parents to a 13-month-old son, Kayden. The pair met on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 and welcomed their first child in June 2025.
Cameron has not publicly addressed the court application. A hearing is currently scheduled for Tuesday, September 1.
Gallagher is currently appearing on the latest season of Below Deck Mediterranean, which was filmed last summer. Neither Bravo nor Gallagher has publicly commented on the alleged domestic violence incident.
