Josh Radnor’s career has been quite busy these days, with much of his fame stemming from the hit series How I Met Your Mother, which opened the door to numerous opportunities. However, the actor has now dropped a brutal truth about the cast of the beloved series.
Josh Radnor reveals he and Neil Patrick Harris revisited tension from their sitcom days
The Hunters star recently appeared on the Half the Picture podcast, where host Billy Barnell asked him whether he is still close with the How I Met Your Mother cast. Without hesitation, Josh Radnor said no, explaining that he is “not even a little bit” close with them anymore.
Josh said, “I don’t mean that in any dramatic way. It’s just, we had a Neil on the Podcast, and he and I had a really interesting conversation about some of the tension we had on set that was like fascinating and kind of healing.”
“And, Jason and I send each other texts every once in a while when something like that reminds us of something funny on set, but I haven’t seen him in a really long time,” he added
Josh Radnor also revealed that he used to speak with Cobie Smulders over Zoom, but it has been quite some time since they were in touch. He added that Alyson Hannigan attended his wedding, but the 52-year-old actor said he has not seen her in a long time.
Despite not being in touch with his former co-stars, the All Happy Families actor clarified during the podcast that he still has love for all of them.
The hit comedy show How I Met Your Mother premiered in September 2005 and ended with Season 9 on March 31, 2014.
Josh Radnor played Ted Mosby, while the other main cast members included Jason Segel as Marshall Eriksen, Cobie Smulders as Robin Scherbatsky, Neil Patrick Harris as Barney Stinson, Alyson Hannigan as Lily Aldrin, Bob Saget as the uncredited voice of Future Ted Mosby, and Cristin Milioti as Tracy McConnell, the Mother.
