Sandra Bullock shared a glimpse into her summer vacation with her family on Instagram. She also posted a rare photo of her kids, 16-year-old Louis and 12-year-old Laila, both of whom are adopted. The third slide in the carousel captured the kids from behind while on a stroll in the countryside. Trees lined the road, and the sun appeared to be setting in the distance.
Another photo showed the kids rafting down a turquoise-green river framed by rugged canyon walls and dense pine forest. They were equipped with safety gear, including life jackets and paddles. Bullock covered the kids’ faces with fish-emoji overlays to maintain their privacy. She adopted Louis in 2010 and Laila in 2015 and was co-parenting them with her late partner, Bryan Randall, who passed away in 2023.
During her 2022 appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan (via PEOPLE), Bullock revealed that Louis was a “crazy foodie.” She said, “He started off as a mixologist, was very into mixing drinks. Had a cocktail book, no alcohol. And then he got into making boba. So that hit the kitchen.”
“And then it was like, he wanted to deep fry everything,” she continued. “Everything was coated in sugar. There’s a science of food that’s happening, but everything is food based for him,” Bullock added. As for her daughter, she said, “And for Laila, everything is an extreme sport of danger for her.”
