A report by Express suggests that Andrew Lownie believes Meghan Markle could find it difficult to adjust to life in the UK. After residing in the US for six years, Prince Harry and Markle are reportedly preparing to return to Britain.
Lownie shared his views with The Daily T Podcast about the Sussexes’ return to the UK. He said, “I can’t see Meghan enjoying a Cotswolds winter with the rain coming down, and her mother a long way away. So I just can’t see this working.”
The US tends to have warm to mild weather year-round and doesn’t experience freezing temperatures in some regions, including Montecito. Meanwhile, the UK is known for its distinctive cold and rainy weather, especially from December to February. Plus, Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, lives in Los Angeles, California, which is relatively close to Harry and Markle’s residence.
Now that the Sussexes are reportedly moving to the UK, they will set up a home there. They are also planning to enroll their children in British schools. Harry and Markle are expected to stay in the UK for a while.
However, the decision to move there is not permanent. She is also set to play a role in the Netflix series “The Gentlemen”. Their residence has not yet been selected, but sources say they could stay in the Cotswolds.
