King Charles’ Wish For Harry & William Could Change Royal Family Dynamics — Source

Recent sources have suggested that King Charles sees Prince Harry‘s UK return as an opportunity for reconciliation with Prince William. This is because the father of two has long hoped for his sons to mend their relationship and be together. The Duke of Sussex’s move comes over a month after his private emotional reunion with the monarch.

King Charles has one wish for Prince Harry and Prince William, sources reveal

A source shared with PEOPLE what King Charles’ expectations are from Prince Harry’s return to the UK with Meghan Markle and their kids, Archie and Lilibet. The insider claimed that he hopes for Harry and William to set aside their grudges and make things right in their bond. “He will want to see his sons together over time. This is the best opportunity we have seen in recent years,” a source close to the royal household said.

An ally further noted that the King’s bond with his younger son has slightly improved following their emotional reunion last month, describing it as “real positive.” The insider also revealed that the monarch looks forward to having Harry around and how this relocation removes the challenge of bringing the Sussexes over from California for brief visits and any potential meetings.

A source also previously told the publication that Harry’s move to the UK could give him and William the “best opportunity” to sort out their differences. “It would never happen with him in America. This gives them the opportunity to try and mend that bridge,” they added.

Earlier, royal expert Emily Nash shared with HELLO! that the reconciliation between Harry and William could take time. She said during a recent episode of A Right Royal Podcast what the Waleses are currently focused on rather than the bond repair. “From people I’ve been speaking to who know them, I think they’re very much working on the basis of let’s get the children settled, let’s get started on what we want to do, and then the rest is something to consider down the line,” she explained.
