Prince Harry’s reported return to the UK appears to be fueled by a renewed sense of confidence. Sources claim his relationship with King Charles has made him feel supported, while he is also said to be drawing strength from his mother, Princess Diana’s family, the Spencers, as he prepares for a new chapter in Britain.
However, Harry’s optimism could spell another headache for Prince William. According to an insider, his positive outlook about returning home may be adding to the tension between the brothers.
Prince Harry reportedly gains confidence from King Charles and the Spencers
It seems Prince Harry feels more secure about his return to Britain after rebuilding his relationship with King Charles. An insider claimed that the Duke of Sussex believes the reconciliation has given him a stronger footing within his family.
“He’s full of swagger,” the source told the National Examiner. Harry is allegedly telling mutual friends that he is happy to have things “back on track” with his father. The insider further claimed that he believes he has “the King’s blessing.”
That confidence is reportedly coming from another side of his family, too. According to the source, Harry feels backed by the Spencers, his late mother Princess Diana’s family. The insider claimed that the combination has left him feeling that “it’s all systems go.”
On the flip side, the development is said to be creating another point of tension with Prince William. The brothers have had a strained relationship for years. Now, the source claims William sees Harry’s return very differently.
According to the insider, William allegedly believes Harry is coming back because “he couldn’t hack it in America.” Harry, however, is said to be telling mutual friends the opposite. The source claimed he has been presenting the move as something he is genuinely excited about.
“He’s missed his friends and his life in the U.K.,” the insider said. Harry is also alleged to be optimistic about reconnecting with Britain after years away.
Meanwhile, the return seems to have now become a reality. Harry and Meghan have reportedly relocated to Britain on Wednesday, August 26, with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet after six years in California. The children are expected to attend school in the UK from September, while the family will maintain their US home and live in a private residence outside London.
