According to Rob Shuter, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly eager to secure a welcome-home meeting with King Charles following their return to the UK. The Sussexes, along with their children, last met the monarch at his private residence, Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, in July. They are now reportedly hoping to meet with Charles after officially settling back in Britain.
A source dished: “They need Charles’ seal of approval. One photograph, one cup of tea, one warm welcome from the King is worth more to Harry and Meghan than a dozen Hollywood deals. It tells the world they’re back inside the royal orbit.”
As per Shuter, Charles is currently occupied with other royal commitments, and there is reportedly no official meeting scheduled at this time. However, Harry and Meghan are said to remain determined to secure an audience with the King.
Another source added: “Meghan would probably prefer a parade down The Mall, but she’ll settle for tea. They didn’t move thousands of miles back to Britain to disappear quietly into the Cotswolds. Please. These are not low-key people. They are begging the King for a meeting.”
Another insider claimed that a meeting with Charles could be key to the Sussexes rebuilding their relevance in the UK. The insider chimed in: “They don’t need to be working royals.
