Haley Thogmartin has spoken out following her Big Brother Season 28 eviction. The 29-year-old telemedicine executive apologized for some of her comments, saying she was “really regretful” about certain things she had said.

In her conversation with Entertainment Weekly, Haley explained, “I have seen a couple of things online. Obviously, I’m not proud of some of the things I said. I’m really regretful about a couple of things, and I obviously own all of it, you know? You’re in a high-stakes situation, emotionally, mentally, physically, twenty-four-seven. And so I think it got the best of me for a couple of moments, and I own all of that.”
She also discussed her treatment of fellow houseguest Taylor Brown during their time in the house. Haley clashed with Taylor over Jason De Puy’s teapot incident, bluntly telling her, as per Parade, “If I have to be a bitch to a bitch, I will.” She later accused LaTrice ‘LaLa’ Verrett of bullying her, drawing criticism from fans.
Speaking about it, she said, “The Taylor [Brown] situation. I would never want anyone to ever feel that way. I’m incredibly apologetic. I would never want anyone to feel that they are less than I am, or saying certain things that made them feel a different way. I was really hurtful with that. And again, I wanna go back and apologize and own everything I did with that.”
She said she had gone through a difficult couple of weeks, but emphasized that it had nothing to do with the game. She admitted that she had taken many things personally and later realized that her actions had upset fans.
Following Haley’s Week 8 elimination after the medieval-themed twist, nine contestants remain in the competition. They include Angela Murray, Barrett Pfeiffer, Dee Valladares, Drew Campbell, LaTrice Verrett, Melody Morris, Rick Devens, Taylor Brown, and Yash Patel.
