Meghan Markle’s newest holiday-themed trailer video has captured attention for its cozy aesthetic, handmade crafts, and festive energy. However, it’s Prince Harry’s unexpected appearance that has everyone talking. While fans welcomed the duke’s rare cameo, one body language analyst claimed the moment may reveal more complicated emotions behind the scenes.
Prince Harry’s cameo in Meghan Markle’s holiday video ‘might create discomfort,’ per expert
When Meghan Markle released the trailer for the latest installment of her Netflix lifestyle series “With Love, Meghan,” viewers immediately noticed that Prince Harry appeared within seconds. In the brief clip, the couple was seen laughing in the kitchen, with Harry leaning in for a quick kiss as Markle wrapped an arm around his neck. The affectionate moment delighted fans, especially since the duke had been largely absent from earlier seasons of the series.
But according to body language expert Judi James, Harry’s cameo may not be as effortless as it appeared. Speaking to The Mirror, James suggested that the prince’s posture and expression hinted at discomfort rather than ease. In the trailer, Harry stood facing the camera, holding a bowl higher than seemed natural. James described him as looking “very self conscious,” almost like a “fish out of water.”
What’s more, the trailer featured a rare bit of PDA, something the couple usually reserved for private life. In James’ view, the affectionate kiss shown in the trailer suggests “total approval” for what she described as Harry’s “show-pony appearance” in Markle’s holiday-themed world.
Longtime royal watchers pointed out that Harry has often seemed more comfortable engaging in humanitarian work than in Hollywood-style productions. “I think he is coming to recognise that the LA celebrity world is one in which he is not especially comfortable,” former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told The Mirror. “And he seems quite willing to let Meghan take the limelight over there.”
