The Fatherhood star recently sat down for a conversation, where he went over a variety of topics. The host occasionally asked him about his LGBTQ allyship, also questioning which letter was his favorite in LGBTQIA.

Kevin Hart initially seemed confused by the question in his interview with Ziwe Fumodoh, but answered, “The definition of it.” When she asked him the definition, he went on to jokingly tell her, “The fact that you would want me to answer that says a lot about you.” The 46-year-old humorously added that Fumodoh “was the problem.”

Fumodoh followed this up by asking Hart the viral question that has been going around on social media platforms: the “gay son or th*t daughter” debate.

“I would rather have two healthy kids. Like, it doesn’t matter to me,” the veteran comedian responded. “Two healthy children and the fact that you have to put them in those categories says a lot about who you are.”

Hart continued passively, “I’m just telling you I think the real problem is in the thinker, not the answerer. The thinker,…Maybe you should just ponder on that for a second.”

Ziwe Fumodoh further asked Kevin Hart different questions centered around this throughout the interview. Moreover, she asked him about his past comments that many called out for being homophobic.

The Die Hart actor responded, “Well, you don’t have to constantly do something if you’re accountable and you are strong enough to stand in whatever the line of fire is to say things. So, whether it’s been the family or friends or gay people in the past, accountability is key. And I think to all of those people that were mentioned in that particular question, I have definitely been aware and accountable.”

Notably, Kevin Hart previously came under fire for making jokes that were deemed problematic due to their homophobic themes. However, he eventually addressed the criticism and even apologized for his words.
