Taylor Swift makes rare comment about Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift made a rare comment about her relationship with Travis Kelce in a new teaser for the six-part docuseries The End of an Era.

In what seems like fan-captured footage shared on The Eras Tour’s X (formerly Twitter) account, Swift described Kelce as “the greatest surprise of my life.” She added, “The most meaningful relationship I’ve ever had started with a man saying he was butthurt that I didn’t want to meet him,” referring to Kelce’s story from an August episode of the New Heights podcast about trying to connect with Swift during her Eras Tour.

The teaser also includes Swift reflecting on the similarities between their careers. “We both entertain people,” she said. “His [performances have] considerably more violence than mine.” Scenes from the trailer show Swift and Kelce backstage, embracing and practicing choreography for his appearance during her tour.

The couple publicly confirmed their engagement on August 26, 2025, in a joint Instagram post that featured Kelce proposing and the two embracing during a floral-filled outdoor moment. The caption read, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Disney+ will release the first two episodes of The End of an Era docuseries on December 12, 2025. The platform will come out with two additional episodes each week. The series explores the development and impact of the Eras Tour and includes behind-the-scenes insights into Swift’s personal and professional life.

On the same day, Swift will release Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show, a concert film of her final tour performance from December 8, 2024, at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Canada.
