Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift had private Thanksgiving celebration, sources suggest
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift reportedly celebrated Thanksgiving privately this year, according to ClutchPoints. Due to Kelce’s NFL schedule, the couple did not participate in a traditional family gathering. Celebrity gossip blog Deuxmoi reported that they chose to spend the holiday together at Swift’s Watch Hill mansion in Rhode Island.
Kelce played in the Kansas City Chiefs’ Thanksgiving Day game against the Dallas Cowboys, which ended in a 28–31 loss for the Chiefs. In the game, Kelce caught five of six targets, totaling 45 receiving yards, and scored one touchdown.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid commented on the team’s performance after the game. “My hat goes off to the Cowboys. They did a nice job today battling through,” Reid said. “I was proud of our guys for battling through with some of the things that were going on…The bottom line is we’re having too many penalties…and [we have] to get off the field on third downs.”
Reid further noted, “We had too many opportunities that we gave away. When two good teams are playing each other, you can’t have that.” The loss brought the Chiefs to a 6–6 record for the season.
The couple’s Thanksgiving dinner at Swift’s mansion reportedly took place shortly after the game. Swift and Kelce have been the subject of media attention in recent months, with continued public interest in their relationship and appearances.
The Chiefs will face the Houston Texans on December 7 at Arrowhead Stadium. They aim to improve their record as the NFL season enters its final stretch.
