Why Bronwyn Newport’s Husband Todd Bradley Is ‘Low-Key Flattered and Also Offended’

Bronwyn Newport brought the whimsy of inflatable adult costumes to the masses. She has a habit of filming scenes in costume, whether it’s a Moschino cape meant to look like a hot dog, or the numerous times she met husband Todd Bradley at the airport dressed as some sort of creature. On the the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast yacht trip, she brought costumes to wear.

It’s Bronwyn’s love of good costumes that made Todd the center of a recent viral meme. And the RHOSLC favorite made sure he knew about it. Viewers will know that the executive tends to shy away from the cameras and attention. But who can resist being the subject of a funny meme?

Todd Bradley, Bronwyn Newport’s husband, is often turned into memes by RHOSLC fans

Bronwyn revealed to People that a costume selection from a prior Halloween event forshadowed the future of Todd’s cyber presence.

“Todd was Mr. Fredricksen, from Up, and I was Kevin, the bird,” she explained. “Then somebody made a really funny meme about Todd as Carl Fredricksen.”

Todd may have stayed blissfully unaware of it. As he seems to try to do. But Bronwyn showed him the funny comparison on her device.

“Todd doesn’t have social media, so I have to — this is such a summation of Todd and I’s relationship — I have to screen record when I want to show Todd something on Instagram, and then text it to him. I think you lose a little bit of the funniness of the meme when I have to do that, but he is aware that he is often a meme,” Bronwyn said.

The RHOSLC star then tactfully stated that her husband was, “low-key flattered and also offended at the same time.” Well, those are Bronwyn’s words. But perhaps Todd did have a chuckle over it all. It’s clear he does not love being in the spotlight.

As for Bronwyn, her looks continue to garner interest. Just don’t call any of her couture pieces costumes.

Catch The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It’s currently streaming on Peacock.
