George Clooney’s ‘Greatest’ Prank Featured This Ex-President

George Clooney doesn’t mind going no-holds-barred when it comes to pranking his Hollywood buddies. The 64-year-old has a long history of japing his co-actors, including several top-tier stars like Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. But shockingly, Clooney even hoaxed himself as an American President to trick a group of actors in the industry.

George Clooney once pranked 30 actors with this ex-US president’s aid

Clooney narrated the tale of his American President-themed prank during his appearance in the December 3 episode of the New Heights podcast, hosted by the NBA star siblings duo, Travis and Jason Kelce. The “Wolfs” actor confessed that he had played “30 different actors” with the same prank.

He disclosed that the noted TV persona, Jimmy Kimmel, had handed him a stack of stationery with the former President, Bill Clinton’s name, and the presidential seal. However, the actor-prankster used them to disguise himself as the former POTUS.

The 64-year-old sent appreciative notes to various actors about their comparatively unsuccessful movies, tricking them into thinking Clinton liked their performances.

“Jimmy Kimmel gave me a stack of stationery with a presidential seal and Bill Clinton’s name on it,” revealed Clooney. “And I would send notes to all these actors from Bill Clinton, I’d sign it — and I’d find a movie that wasn’t a great film and ‘I’d write, ‘I loved you in this film.'”

The involvement of a former American President makes this one of Clooney’s greatest pranks, but he has also used his co-stars to pull off japes on other actors.

In the same episode, the 64-year-old disclosed that he once pranked the Oscar-winning actress, Meryl Streep, disguising himself as his “Wolfs” co-star, Brad Pitt. He imitated Pitt’s signature and sent Streep a bunch of dialect learning CDs with a note. Clooney disclosed what he wrote, saying:

“‘Dear Meryl, from Brad. This guy helped me in my accent in the movie “Troy”, and I thought maybe you could use it.’ And I sent her this book of accents from Brad Pitt.”

At 64, Clooney may have limited pranking his Hollywood friends. However, his expertise says that he still might pull off a few good ones.
