No matter what anyone else says, Tara Reid is convinced that she was drugged. That’s the story she’s had all along, and even though the evidence doesn’t back that claim for now, the American Pie actress remains firm on that stance.
Police failed to find any video evidence that her drink had been tampered with while she was away from the hotel bar just outside of Chicago last month. She insists someone did something to her drink after finding a napkin when she returned from smoking outside.
After finishing her drink, things took a turn for the worse. Her condition was so bad that paramedics had to take her out of the hotel in a wheelchair to a nearby hospital.
Tara Reid is sticking to her stories despite police having no evidence
Police may not believe her story, but Tara is holding firm on her allegations. The Rosemont Public Safety Department made a statement on Wednesday. They say that a bartender covered her drink with a napkin which is aparently standard practice.
Police are reportedly awaiting the hospital records to see what sort of testing Tara underwent. The actress was in the hospital for hours. “Bottom line is no one ends up in the hospital incapacitated for over 8 hours after a drink,” Tara said in a statement.
Following the incident, Tara did say she was willing to prosecute in relation to the matter. She says she met some YouTubers on the night in question while she was there for a celebrity signing.
Tara didn’t get a blood alcohol test, as hospital staff apparently thought she may have been drugged. After getting out of the hospital, the actress claims the person she had a cigarette with texted videos of her from the night at the hotel. She believed that it may have been a form of blackmail.
