Selling Sunset is back, and apparently so is the drama both on and off screen. Chelsea Lazkani’s estranged husband, Jeff Lazkani, is now telling the truth from his side about what really went down during their divorce. He can no longer sit back as the rumors have generated so much hate.
Jeff Lazkani is calling out Selling Sunset viewers for sending hate
“I have sat idly by for the past two years and witnessed misinformation about me, my marriage, and my life,” Jeff shared with US Weekly. “I’ve been hounded by the press and see all the twisted comments. They inflate stories to drive viewership, no matter the cost or detriment to one’s family.”
Jeff clarified that no one has interviewed him since the split. He also slammed the strangers who have sent him hate after watching Selling Sunset. He felt the need to make a statement about his and Chelsea’s split to address the online hate train.
The couple split in March 2024. Chelsea filed for divorce after seven years of marriage. They share two children.
Jeff said their relationship was a true love story. He remains grateful for their time together. However, he needed to add “facts” about their split, including saying the show is filmed months before it airs, and not everything is accurate. Plus, producers add drama to drive viewership, too.
He denied there was any infidelity in the marriage. He also shared that he and Chelsea are in “a good place. “Chelsea and I share 50/50 custody of our children and live a few blocks from each other. I do provide support for my children financially,” he explained, refuting Chelsea’s claim that she didn’t get child support.
I wonder if we’ll get any more information on the new season. Season 9 of Selling Sunset has just dropped, and there’s already drama. Chelsea and co-star Crishell Stause were noticeably absent from the premiere. Chelsea is at odds with the now sober Mary Bonnet. And Crishell may even be leaving the show.
