Marjorie Taylor Greene continues to take heat for her views on American politics today. The Georgia Representative got into an intense discussion with 60 Minutes reporter Lesley Stahl recently.
Among other things, Marjorie was called out by Lesley, who claimed she is partly to blame for the toxicity in the United States political scene. The term toxic was one the former Donald Trump supporter had previously stated about the direction of the government right now.
Like we saw in her back-and-forth exchanges with the President, Marjorie pulled no punches in her interview.

A war of words erupted on 60 Minutes between Marjorie and Lesley this past weekend. The two quickly became locked into a fierce exchange of words with what sounded like plenty of gaslighting.
At one point during the chat, the topic went to Marjorie apologizing on television for the toxic culture in America. Lesley told the Congresswoman, “You contributed to that,” while slamming her for reportedly “insulting people.” She voted on Donald’s bill as President nearly 100% of the time and was seen as one of his most loyal followers for years.
Their relationship reportedly changed after she spoke with him about the Jeffrey Epstein Files. The President called her a “traitor.” She fired back at him during a call, demanding that those files be released last month setting the record straight on her definition of a traitor. Marjorie did the same to Lesley, calling her “accusatory” when told she’s partly to blame for the toxic politics in the US.
Marjorie says that since distancing herself from the President, she’s received her share of death threats, some on her son. She claims they were fueled by Donald. Marjorie alleges the President attacked her with insults at the same time as he allegedly brought in the Al-Qaeda leader.
Recently, the mother of three announced she’ll resign from Congress effective in January. She has served as a Representative for Georgia’s 14th district since 2021.
