It’s not official until it’s IG official, and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams just went official with her girlfriend Patrice “Sway” McKinney. Porsha poured the love into her sweet social media post and shared the big step that she and Patrice took during the holiday season. It looks like things are getting serious!
Porsha Williams and “Sway” had “a ball”
Porsha spoke to Entertainment Tonight and admitted that she and Patrice have been dating for a while. Back in October, she mentioned during a CultureCon panel in Brooklyn that she was involved with both a man and a woman at the time.
“I think before I had mentioned, ‘He is nice, and she is nice,’” Porsha recalled. “So I started to focus more on her.”
She shared how the couple took a big step during the holidays. “Thanksgiving came around, and she was like, ‘Yeah, I’m gonna cater,’ and I was like, ‘You know, me too,’” Porsha shared. “We were coming back from Miami, and I was like, ‘Let’s do it together!’ So we did. We got our families together and we had a bomb Thanksgiving. When I tell you, we had a ball! We were karaoke-ing, playing games, eating good food. It just all felt good.”
And then Porsha realized it was Patrice’s birthday the next day and said she wanted to post for that. “Her birthday was the next day, and I was like, ‘I want to post for her birthday,’” Porsha added. “And the picture was just so sweet. How could I resist?”
The RHOA Housewife shared a carousel of sweet snaps of her and Patrice. When asked if it was a hard launch, Porsha said they were very close and said she wasn’t dating anyone else and that they were exclusive. Honestly, she looks so happy!
Her friends appear to be thrilled for the couple, too. Fellow Housewives were in the comments of Porsha’s IG, sending congratulations. “Just over here smiling and blushing,” Cynthia Bailey wrote.
“I love seeing you happy!” wrote Kim Zolciak. Real Housewives of New York alum Sonja Morgan added, “Congratulations, you both look over the moon happy!”
