Post Malone almost hurt himself while performing in Guwahati, Assam, on Monday, December 8. In a video going viral on the internet, Malone picks up a drink and exits the stage as the crowd dances to his song “Sunflower.” As he is getting down, he slips a few steps below. Fortunately, the bouncers help him to his feet, and the singer gets up and walks ahead as if nothing happened.
Malone walks towards the crowd and greets his fans with hugs and autographs as his bouncers trail behind him to protect him. He sips on his drink and walks into the crowd unabashedly, gently vibing and swaying to his song “Sunflower.” Unsurprisingly, the video has garnered 1.1K likes, 164 comments, 75 retweets, and 63 saves at the time of writing. Fans react to his on-stage mishap with messages laced with humor and concern in equal measure.
One fan joked that Malone must be sipping some beer when he fell off stage: “Hold my beer,” accompanied by a GIF from Ted Lasso. Another wrote, “Hope he’s alright! That stage looked slick. However, a portion of the stage gave way, and the singer fell off the stage as the front audience gasped in shock. To his credit, Post Malone quickly rose to his feet and continued performing, unfazed by the stage mishap, and closed the concert on a high note.
