Southern Charm’s Molly O’Connell Drops Relationship Bombshell; Ex Shep Rose Reacts

Southern Charm star Molly O’Connell is officially “off the market.” The euphonium-playing belle found herself a new beau and Shep Rose has some thoughts.

Though she wasn’t ready to reveal his name, Molly shared that he’s “from the South” and has lived in Charleston, South Carolina, “for a long time.” In addition, he’s also a musician and plays the guitar, so they have a love of music in common.

“I have been recently dating someone for the past few months,” Molly told The Daily Dish. “He’s my boyfriend.”

Shep weighed in, saying, “He’s a talented guy.” Molly’s former (brief) flame approves of her new boyfriend, pronouncing him a “super, super good guy.”

“We’re very happy about this,” Shep told Andy Cohen on the pair’s December 10 visit to Watch What Happens Live. “They’re in a band together. That always works, right?”

“I might put more money on it working than the two of you, with all due,” Andy quipped, referring to the pair’s short-lived hookup on the Season 10 finale.

After admitting her crush on Shep and their kiss at the season ending party, Molly and Shep went back to his place. Together they put an end to Molly’s previously “celibate” lifestyle and shared “a few fun nights,” but ultimately, the relationship didn’t go anywhere.

On the Southern Charm Season 11 premiere, Molly enjoyed a little flirt with Craig Conover’s buddy Kory Keefer, though she wasn’t buying his pick-up lines. “Oh, wow, shiny, toxic f*ckboy,” she said in a show confessional. “My therapy apparently is not working very well if this is who I think is cute.”

Southern Charm airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
