After losing full-time custody of her children, Meghan King is staying positive. The Real Housewives of Orange County star shares three children with former MLB player Jim Edmonds. She lost custody of them following a visit from Child Protective Services, and the drama played out in the headlines. Last week, the exes reached a custody agreement before having to appear in court, and Meghan broke her silence on the situation over the weekend.

Per Meghan and Jim’s agreement, their three kids will live with him in Tennessee, along with his new wife, Kortnie Edmonds. Meanwhile, Meghan is based in Missouri. The children, who are all under 10, will get a few weeks with her every summer.
Surely, that’s not the exact outcome Meghan was hoping for, but she shared a positive outlook on things via her Instagram Stories this weekend. She posted a photo of a cracked sidewalk filled with colorful mosaic pieces, and it gave her a sense of hope.
“This morning the universe reminded me that maybe I don’t need to disguise the cracks,” Meghan wrote. “Maybe instead I can fill them with color and purpose. Thank you, universe.”
Although their new custody agreement would see the kids spending most of their time in Tennessee, the RHOC alum did reunite with the kiddos over the weekend for some holiday magic. On her Instagram Stories, she shared snaps of the kids playing a claw machine game at a holiday pop-up before heading to a live performance of A Christmas Story. She’s filling the cracks with color and purpose.
