Kyle Chrisley, son of The Chrisley’s: Back to Reality stars Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley, has been arrested in Tennessee. The charges include several assault charges, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest, to name a few. This is not his first run-in with the law.
Kyle Chrisley was arrested on charges including assault

Fans of the Chrisley family know that the family has faced problems with their children and the law in the past. Kyle was previously arrested in 2023 on aggravated assault charges. This was just months after Todd and Julie were sentenced to prison time for bank and tax fraud.
And Kyle wasn’t the only Chrisley who took things hard during their parents’ sentencing and subsequent jail time. Chase Chrisley also took it hard, turning to alcohol and ending up estranged from his sister Savannah Chrisley.
So despite their pardon and release from jail, the Chrisley family is still dealing with several issues. The newest of which is Kyle’s latest arrest.
According to TMZ, Kyle was picked up by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office on December 20 at around 7 PM. He was booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center that night. Kyle is facing charges of disorderly conduct, domestic assault, public intoxication, resisting arrest, and assaulting a first responder.
He is also facing 3 charges for retaliation for past actions. This means he may have threatened or harmed one or more individuals in connection with former actions against him. The sheriff’s office is unable to share further details.
Kyle argued that his former arrest was an unfair arrest and sued Rutherford County and two sheriff deputies previously for an alleged $1.7 million last August 2025.
According to court documents, it’s alleged that Kyle was “punished for calling for help” during a violent encounter with a mechanic and that he was nearly run over in front of neighbors. The suit is ongoing.
The Chrisleys: Back to Reality is streaming via Lifetime.
