Savannah Chrisley ‘Excited’ to Co-Host Talk Show That ‘Bashed My Family’

Savannah Chrisley will be co-hosting a morning chat show. She’s up for the task even though the hosts of the show previously slammed the presidential pardon given to her parents, Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley. Despite “bashing her family,” the Chrisley Knows Best alum looks forward to the experience.

Savannah Chrisley prepares to join The View

Savannah has done her share of the media rounds since her parents received a presidential pardon. She joined the family on their new show, The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, continues to host her Unlocked podcast, and continues to guest on other shows and podcasts.

Next up for Savannah — The View for one whole week! She shared the news on Unlocked last Tuesday at the 17:03 mark.

“I’m so excited for that because I love doing things that challenge me,” she said. “And I like doing things that educate me.”

She admitted that her appearance on the talk show is “outside her comfort zone.” The show is hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, Alyssa Farrah Griffin, Ana Navarro, and Sara Haines. And some of the ladies did not have good things to say about the Chrisleys in the past.

“I mean, these personalities have bashed my family, have bashed me,” Savannah shared. “These are the same women who made a comment to the extent of, ‘Wonder what she had to do for those pardons.”

Savannah secured her parents’ release after they were convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud in 2022. While many supported her never giving up, some (like some of the ladies of The View) were critical of her actions.

“According to this administration, if you are a reality star with a lot of money, and a tax cheat, and you commit fraud, then that’s good,” Joy said back in May. “We’re going to give you a pardon. But poor people on Medicaid or food stamps, according to this administration, are the real moochers.” Ana added that the pardon was “not ethical.”

The Chrisleys: Back to Reality is streaming via Lifetime.
