It’s a new year, and Bravo is coming in hot with an all-new show. But it’s got a few familiar faces in the mix. Of course, we’re talking about the long-awaited Shahs of Sunset reboot, The Valley: Persian Style!
After getting put on pause in 2021, Reza Farahan, Mercedes “MJ” Javid, and Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi are coming back to our screens this week, and they’re bringing some new friends along with them.
The Valley: Persian Style premieres January 8
We’ve been following the rumors about a Shahs of Sunset reboot for years at this point. Reza was the first one to float the idea, revealing in a 2024 interview that he and some of his Shahs of Sunset castmates had been working on a show that would feature “half OGs and half new.”
He wasn’t lying. After months of speculation, Bravo finally confirmed that their show had been greenlit. Following the success of The Valley, which features alums from Vanderpump Rules spinoff, the brilliant minds at the network decided to give Shahs of Sunset the same treatment.
Just as Reza teased back in 2024, The Valley: Persian Style’s two-part premiere will reintroduce us to the core members of the Shahs of Sunset crew while ushering in a new wave of Bravolebrities. This show has a total of 12 cast members, so you might need a pen and paper to remember them all at first.
In addition to GG, Mercedes, Reza, and their spouses, the full cast includes Tanin Nikpey, Greg Haroutunian, Amir Boroumand, Natasha Kashanian, Sky Askari, Bamshad Akhbari, and Reza Jackson.
While the series synopsis promises to show the Shahs of Sunset OGs in their new, mature eras, the Season 1 trailer teased plenty of drama on the horizon. MJ is navigating major marital issues, and in the trailer, GG is already breaking the fourth wall. We’re so here for the mess.
The Valley: Persian Style premieres Thursday, January 8 at 9/8c on Bravo. Episodes will stream the next day on Peacock.
