Netflix is welcoming another reality show into the fold! The streamer will soon be debuting a brand new unscripted reality series, Calabasas Confidential. The Calabasas area is probably best known from the infamous reality show The Kardashians. But who will Netflix be following in this series? One thing is for certain, they promise it’s going to be “one dramatic summer.”

Bravo has some serious competition on their hands with all the shows Netflix is cranking out. They’ve got multiple real estate-themed shows such as Selling Sunset and Selling the OC. And they even have their own spin on The Traitors with Million Dollar Secret. A one million dollar prize is nothing to sniff at!
However, now it seems Netflix is wanting to do their take on the Los Angeles suburbs by heading out to the valley, Calabasas to be exact. So, what do they have in store for us?
Well, Netflix teased there is going to be plenty of drama. They posted about the show, “In this LA zip code known for the rich and famous… a group of lifelong friends, rivals, and exes come home from college for one dramatic summer.”
The tag line on the poster hints that this will be an epic reunion for the cast. It says, “They’re back home where the drama never left.”
All this reads like we are going to follow a much younger cast in that desirable zip code. Unlike current shows near that area such as The Valley and The Valley: Persian Style, which focus on families with kids. And also adults who continue to act like they just got out of college as well.
If you are excited to check out this new series, you won’t have to wait too long. Netflix shared it will drop on May 29.
