The rest of her year is dedicated to a very calm and predictable routine. She goes out of her way to avoid the hectic social scene that usually defines a movie star’s life. Her domestic world is governed by a strict schedule, largely thanks to her husband. She described Cooke as her “anchor” and the total opposite of her personality. He is the one who keeps their boys on a precise 7:30 a.m. breakfast routine.
To keep their marriage thriving, they have negotiated a 15-minute “wiggle room” for her morning arrival. Lawrence joked that her own natural chaos makes tight timing a struggle, but she values the stability he provides.
The actress also revealed that her late-night party days are firmly in the past. She now refuses to do interviews or attend any events that start after 9 p.m. By 9:15 p.m., her Kindle is usually off, and she is asleep.
