On The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 finale, Heather Gay exposed castmate Monica Garcia’s true identity. Or did she?
When Heather supposedly unmasked Monica as one of the creators behind online gossip account Reality Von Tease, she was furious. She then rallied her castmates to get Monica kicked off the show with her battle cry, “Receipts! Proof! Timelines! Screenshots!”
Now Monica claims that Heather is the one who asked her to do her “dirty work” by leaking information anonymously online. Additionally, she says that when she refused to continue, Heather “punished” her by exposing her identity as Reality Von Tease.

According to Monica, Heather has recruited her RHOSLC Season 6 castmates to target Meredith Marks. In a January 13 Instagram video, Monica noted that Meredith claimed Heather was “punishing” her for not doing what she asked. She believes history is repeating itself, and Heather is again rallying her castmates to do her dirty work for her.
As proof of her claim, Monica read messages from her famous Burn Book. Supposedly, the messages were “from the Reality Von Tease group chat.”
“I’m not going to be the one doing everyone’s dirty work,” she read. “Just like Heather can do it herself, so can y’all from here on out.”
Furthermore, she read a message she said was from one of her RVT co-creators. “Heather told me Jen [Shah]’s already showed her a bunch of conversations between y’all three when [Heather] was trying to make a point,” her co-creator said. “It doesn’t diminish where we are now and the PTSD we all have from [Jen] … At the end of the day … it’s not about doing Heather’s dirty work.”
Meanwhile, Monica says Heather wanted receipts posted on RVT on her behalf, but Monica refused, as she didn’t “feel comfortable” about it. “If Heather wants to post it herself or have someone else post it, that’s fine,” she continued. “I just don’t want to get into it with [name redacted], Heather and Jen … They can fight amongst themselves.’”
In her Instagram caption, Monica addressed Heather directly: ““With your fake phone call in Bermuda and your fake performative outrage. Your hatred towards me is [based on] me refusing to do your dirty work … and telling you NO. Just like you’re punishing Meredith for also telling you no.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the following day.
